Black Velvet

The lava flow of new paving now reaches from the “intersection” all the way down to “first bridge” on the Koke`e Road. It’s like riding on black velvet. We know they spiffed it just for us!

Start Line Cottage

Stay just yards from the start — Race volunteers Barbara and David offer the closest beds to the P2M start line on Koke`e Road in Kekaha. For nightly and weekly rates, email gardenista@hawaiiantel.net or call (808) 651-2488.

Recognize Her?

Our P2M’12 podium girl, Jackie Taylor, was named Miss Kauai Veteran 2012 and rode in yesterday’s parade through Kapaa. Jackie is a senior at Waimea High School. Congrats!
